Description
A rich and creamy cheesecake, decorated with Halloween colors and spooky toppings, perfect for parties or a fun family dessert.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs (or crushed Oreos)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- Gel food coloring (orange, purple, black)
- Halloween-themed toppings (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, vanilla, and eggs (one at a time), mixing until fully combined.
- Divide the batter into three bowls. Add food coloring to each to create orange, purple, and black batters.
- Layer the colored batters into the crust, swirling for a marbled effect.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven, leave the door slightly open, and let the cheesecake cool for an hour inside the oven.
- Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Decorate with Halloween-themed toppings before serving.
