Ingredients
- 8 Babybel Cheese Rounds
- 1 can of Crescent Roll Dough
- Candy Eyes
- 1 Egg (optional, for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unwrap the Babybel cheese rounds and set them aside.
- Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into thin strips, about 1/4 inch wide.
- Wrap the dough strips around each cheese round, leaving a small space for the eyes.
- (Optional) Brush the dough with egg wash for a golden finish.
- Place the wrapped cheese rounds on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Add two candy eyes to each cheese mummy in the uncovered space.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
